The Racer Bikes Cup in Muttenz was the last test before the upcoming world cup finals in Windham (USA) and the World Championships in Mt. St. Anne (CAN).

To getting in shape I was in a trainingscamp in the Engadin region, on the Berninapass. Two and a half weeks at 2300 meters was not easy for my body. I was also struggling with the temperature difference from under 10 degrees to a hot summer day.

After a good start and first lap I lost the leading group. You don’t have a chance riding alone on this fast track with one short but steep climb. Not at all if your legs feel bad. So I tried to finish the race as good as possible. I crossed the finishline with rank eleven.

On Monday I’m leaving to the United States. Hope to avoid a big jetlag and to be well ready then for the last world cup this season. Cross your fingers for me!
