Today was already my last cross race for this "season". The Swiss Championships was the "highligt" of my four races which I rode.
I was not sure how my shape would be today. In Bussnang I had some problems and in addition my overexpansion in the hollow of the knee in Beromünster still hurts. In the training I increased my shape from day to day and so I was motivated to give everything once more.
In the first of nine laps I could follow the favorites for today. But then the speed was to high and I couldn't follwo anymore. From now I tried to find my rhythm. Just a small crash interrupted my race. The shifter wasn't working anymore till the tech zone. Therefore some riders pasted me. Then I did my laps in which I could pass again one rider in the final lap and finished 7.
