I was looking forwward to the Racerbikescup in Chur since long time.To race just 10 minutes away from home it's always nice. Unfortunately I coulnd't get a good result.

With big motivation I was standing on the startline in Chur to do a great result. But there was a little skepsis in my head if I really can race fast. I didn't take part in a competition for 4 weeks and there of 3 weeks I was in a trainingscamp in the high altitude. The experiences from the last year showed me that's not easy to race just after the high altitude.

The start was quite good and I had i nice feeling. But iat the beginning of the second lap I didn't recover well and so the speed was to high to stay in the group. After I lost some places I found my rhythm. Together with Litscher and Stirnemann I did some laps. Then I improved the speed that they coulnd't follow me anymore. I crossed the line in 7th. position.

I was happy that I didn't give up and fight till the end. I need this race kilometer for the next race in Kanada.

Next saturday is the next world cup in Mont Sainte Anne. I hope I recover well to be fresh in the race.
