After one month world cup break we have been back in Tschech Republik, Nove Mesto Na Morave. It's the second last race to qualify for the Olympic games.

Last year this race was one of the best concerning race course, live coverage and the amount of spectators. The course was the same as last year with a lot of small and short uphills and technical sections. It was fun to ride on it. And the crowd was awesome, again.

The start was not as good as I normally can do, I couldn't move forward. The start loop I finished in Top 20. But there still have been six laps to do, time to get better. I was in a big group which was figthing for tenth place. Unfortunately I didn't have the power to ride in front of the group at this moment. So there opened everytime gaps and some riders could escape. I kept riding on the same position. In the middle of the race I tried hard to escape to close the gap to the riders in front. But I couldnt' reach them and I paid for this acceleration. Right on time I recovered for the last two laps, ready to fight with other riders. With a big effort I made a distance between me and the others just before the finish line. i finished as 15th.

This was the best world cup result this year so far. The legs felt really good and I'm looking forward to the next world cup in La Bresse next weekend.

In the overall I could improve to 18th.
