News > World Cup Nove Mesto Na Morave

It's going forward, at least with my legs. Unfortunately I couldn't reach my result I was aspiring to. But how I said, the good feeling is back.

The start in Nove Mesto is one of the most difficult to do. It's a very long, wide open track and you have to always pay attention. You can gain some positions but a short time later you will loose them  again. Unfortunately I couldn't move forward to get a better position than my race number of 44. From the second lap on I started to improve my position and that gave me a big motiviation. Just at this time I had some mechanical issues. At the end of the race I was able to go full gas and caught some contenders. I crossed the finish line in 40th position.

Nove Mesto was again a great event. Super nice course with technical sections and short uphills. In addition the crowd was amazing.

The next World Cup will be next week in Albstadt.
